	Synopsis
	"In This Place" is about a young woman trying to find her place in an increasingly globalized world and the effects of globalization on the individual and family life.

	Jane moves back home to help discover herself as an artist, only to be left alone as each of her family members announces their departure. With each of them retreated to different corners of the globe, Jane uses her imagination to escape the loneliness and isolation she feels and in so doing discovers what she ultimately wants: a stronger connection with her family.

	Frame grabs from Arizona desert footage. Kodak Vision 2 200T and Vision 3 500T 35mm film. May 2008. These scenes will be used in opening credit sequence and fantasy travel sequence where Jane fantasizes about adventures across the country.



	Composite mock-ups for Jane's safari adventures. Kodak Vision 2 200T (backgrounds) and RED ONE (character). July/Dec 2008. Safari footage will be layered, collage-style, so that each frame is a layering of several 35mm image cut-outs.
